INCYL members awarded the “María de Maeztu” and “Gloria Begué” prizes.

Eva María Arroyo Anlló and David Díaz López were the INCYL researchers awarded.

On April 17, a ceremony was held at the Paraninfo of the University that awarded 43 teachers for their educational work and excellence. The ceremony was presided over by the Rector of the University of Salamanca, Juan Manuel Corchado; but also in attendance were the Vice Rector for Research, José Miguel Mateos Roco; the Vice Rector for Undergraduate Studies and Quality, Bertha María Gutiérrez; and the Vice Rector for Academic Planning and Teaching Staff, Rosario Arévalo (also a member of INCYL).

On the one hand, the “María Maeztu” awards were given to 20 professors, a prize awarded for having completed a decade at the University and having a minimum of five years of positive evaluation of research activity (sexenios) by the National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity (CNEAI). Eva María Arroyo Anlló was among these awardees.

On the other hand, the “Gloria Begué” awards were also presented to the professors who accredited three evaluations of the Teaching Program with the qualification of “Excellent. Among the 19 winners was David Díaz López.

This award ceremony reinforces INCYL’s values of excellence and commitment not only to research but also to teaching and knowledge transfer.
